The fact we're even talking about LSU basketball and "bracketology" in the same breath is step in the right direction. This is a team only two years removed from a 2-16 SEC record and getting blown out by Ole Miss and South Carolina, the 12th and 13th place SEC teams.

It’s basically just a weekly snapshot of where things stand. Obviously a LOT will change over the course of the year.

Based on the early season data, this looks about right. LSU has an EM of 62, but that also puts LSU 15 in a very tough SEC. LSU has a nice 3 game stretch of FSU, FGCU, & SMU coming up to prove it has taken a step up. FGCU isn't a great team, but it is a trap game that the Tigers will need to focus on.
