I don’t read enough politics into it to tell if a parade is woke or not. I am sure there are some black people in the parade, if that is your point….

It's no longer a parade like it was in the past. Nothing but a bunch or choreographed dancing and singing.

It looks like a long broadway commercial. You can occasionally see a parade in the background.

The parade has been fine on tv but NBC puts too much emphasis on the Broadway parts IMO. Only “woke” thing so far has been death becomes her performance which had like 5 homos in dresses but theater guys have been pansies for centuries so not sure how woke that is. I did not like explaining to my kid why guys were in dresses. I just said some guys are weirdos

I’m all about celebrating Native American Culture and enjoy a lot of Southwest History but that was an abomination.

Watched the Houston one for a bit. Seemed like a good show. I don’t make it a point to look for something I should be against tho.
