Looking for a Safety Job

I'm looking to move back home to Louisiana after working in multiple states the last 5 or so years. I would like to be somewhere between Baton Rouge and New Orleans but am open to anything throughout Louisiana and Mississippi as far north as Jackson MS, and as far west as Houston. Would be clutch to get on as soon as January.
Current company wants to transfer me to New Jersey or Raleigh NC but the compensation doesn't add up anymore unfortunately and living outside Seattle has not be good on finances.
I graduated from SELU in 2019 with an OSHE degree. I have my CHST and take the CSP in December. I have 6+ years of safety experience and 3+ managing safety mostly in the heavy civil construction industry focused in tunnel construction with Tunnel Boring Machines and blasting dynamite. Also interstate expansion projects.
If anyone knows of any availabilities and can help a baw out, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

I always assumed those safety gigs either paid bad or you had to be somebody’s brother in law that was pretty high up the food chain.

Brian Kelly could certainly use some help at safety. Talk to him.

You should not have a problem finding a good job down here. Just start checking the jobs boards.
Ideally you would want to get hired directly by the companies like Shell, Dow, BASF, but if that doesn’t work out go to work for a Turner/Zachary type of group to get more experience

I work for a major insurance carrier...search for loss control/risk engineering for the top 5 carriers & brokers.
Great jobs, 120K+ , easy work ..everyone is hiring.
