Chamlette pulls off the upset.

WM in a battle with Central, WM wins again in the last minute

Ruston rolls.

Airline over Destrehan

Central is legit. Nothing but respect for them. Defense is fast and gets to the ball quickly. It’s going to be an absolute war.

This is what the playoffs are SUPPOSED to be like! Can’t wait!

Assuming you are trolling. Neville wins easily . At. least 3 touchdowns.

This

We’ll be excited to be there, we may play over our heads for a quarter of this game, but there’s separation between Ruston, Airline, and Neville and everyone else.

If we play the rest of the playoffs 100 times, those three would win the state championship like 85% of the time

Either Neville wins by 24 or more, or it's a 4 point or less game won by either side.

Chalmette seems to start slow, then settle in and take over games. If we can be down by 14 or less at halftime, the second half could get very interesting.

I think the one vulnerability we have is our DBs can let people behind them. The teams that have given us trouble have a strong vertical passing game.

Latest forecast is 41 degrees at kickoff. Will that slow down a passing game?

The reality is, if Chalmette wins on Friday, it would likely go down as one of the greatest upsets in LHSAA football history. But we are playing with house money at this point, and young teams playing with house money can be very, very dangerous. Maybe we catch Neville looking past us.

No matter what happens Friday, I'm proud of this team, and while we lose a couple of playmakers for sure, a lot of this team comes back next year, and this experience will be extremely valuable.

What was the last upset that you could say was as big? Central-St. Paul 2011?

Ponchatoula over #1 WM in 2015. Probably one of the reasons we have the travel rule we currently use.

I know some pretty big ones recently were Carver beating West Monroe in like 2002, St Charles Catholic beating Lafayette Christian, EJ going through Warren Easton, Neville, and Karr to win the state championship, and whatever year that was Mansfield beat Calvary Baptist

The last such upsets we had were us beating St Aug in 1988 and Salmen in 2002

That was a regular season game. WM ran cover 0 three plays. Carver hit go routes all 3 times. 21-7 final.

What do you guys think about Bunkie and Jewel Sumner? Bunkie is coming off an unexpected beating of Amite. I expected to win but not like that. Amite and Sumner played 2 point game. I think on paper Bunkie should win but I don’t know anything about Sumner other then they run the Wing T. Our run defense is pretty stout.

This was WM in its prime though.

Also before OneApp… probably all of Carver’s kids came from the 7th ward and Desire area. this was when Orleans Parish public school uniforms looked old, Pan Am looked old, etc.
