The best part of the ESPN 30 for 30 on SMU was when Ron Meyer was in Craig James living room and called the NCAA Headquarters about Dickerson’s Trans A&M and said “We (SMU) didn’t buy the kid the car and he can be walking with no car for all I care”

Aggy bought him the Trans Am.
He still wanted to go to SMU, and SMU pointed out that Aggy can't exactly tell the NCAA.

It really is. SMU also lost at home to a big 12 team and the other big 12 team they played in TCU scored 42 points on them.

Committee kept Florida state out of CFP because they were perceived as not in the top 4 at that time. I would think this should apply to SMU. Plenty of teams ranked behind them that would beat them.

They have to win the ACC to get in and if they do it’s an automatic bid.
