Behind a paywall, but Shedeur is his second QB. Who does the MSB prefer?

I dont hate Shedeur but Ward will come with less of a “spotlight.”

The MSB would take Diego Pavia over Shedeur.

I don't know which one will end up having the better career at the next level, but Ward seems like he will be a turnover machine.

I would not want my team to draft Cam Ward

This IS the worst QB class in NFL Draft history

There isn’t one single legit future starter in the bunch

He's only got 7 interceptions in 399 pass attempts. Sheduer has 7 in 413 pass attempts. The only other QB tat has 7 or less interceptions in 400+ pass attempts is Seth Henigan at Memphis.

Both of these guys are relaxed and confident in the pocket.

Ward has the potential to be a good pro but he can be too confident and relaxed and that makes him lackadaisical at times. He's guaranteed to give you a real dumbshit play or two every game. He's also going to have to learn to be more urgent getting out of bounds at the next level because defenders are faster and he could get lit up like Pat White or Bledsoe along the sideline.

Shedeur looks fantastic on short to medium throws but I still question his deep accuracy. His receivers have bailed him out quite a few times in recent games on ducks thrown deep.

Shedeur has some great receivers that cover for his mistakes

What's missing is most if not all of Cam's picks have come on awful decisions like throwing across his body over the middle and there have been other plays he's gotten away with that would have probably been picked in the NFL.

The sloppy plays are a pretty small minority but he'll need to really cut down on them in the NFL or it will become a good Cam/bad Cam thing.

I wonder though what Shedeur could do with a really competent line. His line at Colorado is serviceable at best. When he has time and is not doing his imitation of Fran Tarkenton his deep balls are very nice

Most highly drafted QB's come from good teams with good WR's. Doesn't really mean anything for the NFL.

The 2026 class doesn't look that great either, unless Nico or Jackson Arnold make huge leaps or Arch balls out next season.

He throws a ton of 50-50 balls that his receivers have to fight for. It’s much more apparent than what I’ve seen from other QBs.

Is it because this is by design, in an offense with outdated pass plays? Or is it an issue with his arm?

That’s the question scouts will have to answer.

Cam Ward seems to have an insane amount of talent, but does really weird shite.

And he has an awful offensive line that he has to make up for. Having good receivers isn't really a knock for a college QB.

I'm not a Shedeur guy and think he will be over drafted, just like Cam Ward. That's just what the NFL does now, but he gets hated on too much. He's a very legit NFL prospect and arguably the best in weak class.

There isn't a 1st round talented QB in this cycle. I would draft OL and develop what I have like the Chargers did.
