It's a smart move for CNN. For starters, she's cheap because she's young and still climbing the ladder. This allows them to continue thinning all of their fat contracts to the dinosaurs they have as well as not having to pay someone else to always go to DC.
I still hope someone buys them though and just guts them into nothingness.

CNN is reportedly "moving to the middle", so this decision seems super counter-intuitive to that goal. Collins shills so hard for the left, it makes Whoopie Goldberg blush.

You have to let them in because even though they do not deserve it, the endless "he cancelled the 1st amendment, HITLER, etc.", would be unbearable.
