I think you have to do both. You recruit Louisiana viciously and continue trying to cherry pick here or there in TX, MS, FL, etc. That’s the core of your program. But I think you have to supplement the areas you know you’re deficient by making some pretty big splashes in the portal. Sure, you can mine some unpolished gems here and there, but you need get known commodities in key positions of need. Hopefully, Kelly has learned his lesson about being largely tentative in the portal the last couple of seasons.

5* CBs need to play with 5* CBs.

With one 5* CB, teams will tend to throw away from the 5* CB. The lone 5* CB will languish in anonymity.

Will both Pickett and Phillips start at boundary CB as TR FR? I think Stamps will still have one of the spots. Anding and Woodland will be the top 2 slot CB. Now we just need safety BAD.

I just don't think Stamps has what it takes physically to be an outside starter. Woodland will make big strides in year two. A top 5 of Phillips, Pickett, Woodland Stamps, Anding and CBU is back. Phillips and Pickett are both EE's too, Raymond will have them ready
