What has to be our top draft priority?

I know a lot has to happen before we really know what the 2025 roster will look like headed into the draft but I have to believe WR and DE will be the most pressing need. I can't see the Saints being active in the FA market nor do I feel like they should be to fill these starter positions.
WR
Olave - IR with multiple concussions People should be concerned about his future in the NFL.
Shaheed - IR Will be a FA in 2026
Scantling - Has looked good but will be a FA in 2025. Do you resign him at 31 and trust he'll keep playing good?
Wilson - Signed through 2025 but what do you really have there?
Tipton - Rookie that may develop
Means - Rookie that has looked good but needs development
DE
Granderson - Clearly a starter
Jordan - Clearly past his prime and I feel like he'll retire after this season.
Young - FA in 2025 and will likely will sign somewhere for more than the Saints should be willing to pay to keep him.
Turner - FA on 2025 but the Saints may have to resign him just to have warm bodies
Foskey - Has shown nothing but ill likely be a camp body and emergency kind of guy.
Jeffcoat - Rookie that we didn't get to see much of anything from due to injury but seems to have some interest around him

DE or CB in round 1.
Then you need in no particular order:
-position not taken above
-WR
-S
-G
-maybe LB
-TE
We need a lot of things. CB and DE are spots that are trending towards being vacant in coming years (adebo prob gone. CamJordan retiring soon/Chase Young prob gone)

At this point so many problems. Just draft the best guy available regardless of position. I would say every position group needs help. Take the best player in every round.

I know I'll be in the minority here IMO the Saints will be ok ar CB for the immediate future with Taylor, Kool-Aid and Adebo. I'd put safety ahead of CB on the needs list TBH.

Best olineman available. Got to protect the greatest qb in saints' history.
That's for you, gyno and pels haha

Forcing a position into a certain round is stupid. What if there are no DEs or CBs worth a first round pick?

That's why you have a board. I'm not asking who do you pick I'm asking what are the likely position priorities.
fwiw, the Saints should be picking anywhere from 8th to 13th IMO. They should be able to address any of the top needs with quality players there.

These mfers better draft the best player available who has the best chance to come in day one and make an impact. The goal for every pick should be the find a starter and a contributor in the later rounds. No projects. Actually players. I don’t give a fuk what the position is. DT, Safety, guard, wr, linebacker, are all major needs. Corner is one but we have 3 respectable corners. They need depth here and that is it.

DE is what I would target with first pick
You can find value at WR in the next round
Also need another CB and/or S with Lattimore gone

DE
We need a pass rush in the worst way. Statues like Cousins have all day to throw. DE in the 1st and Guard in the 2nd.

In my mock draft simulator, here's my choices at 10...
Mason graham DT
Mykell Williams DE
Malaki starks s
Will Campbell OT
I think I'd be fine with any of those.

A difference maker. Doesn’t really matter.
I do think we need a couple of younger RBs later in draft with fresh legs.

Im actually fine with that lol. We need good olineman. As long as we’re not reaching for one (Penning); Im fine with that.

Priority should almost always be an offensive or defensive lineman.
Or a super stud at a skill position.

We need at least four starters. Draft players who can be those guys.

Be hard to pass on him if he were there from what I know.
