The McAfee decision seems to be paying dividends

quote:

Most impressively, GameDay is reaching a young audience as well as its loyal fans. The show is seeing its largest percentage gains among the 18-24 age demographic, up a staggering 41% from 2023.

In a world of quick hits and short attention spans, GameDay viewers are watching four minutes more per episode than a season ago. Social content is up significantly with engagements up 66% and video views up 131% year-over-year at the midpoint of the season.

He’s annoying as frick sometimes but he has rejuvenated the program. Him along with Saban have been great.

I still wish they would cut all of the sad arse stories they put in week in and week out.

Three hours is ridiculous, but Pat plus Saban has improved things. I agree we could have less stories about dying kids.

Des now stands out like a sore thumb. His seniority will probably keep him around.

I would say it's because of Saban. I'd pretty much quit watching gameday. Now, even if I'm in my car, I'm playing the YouTube stream on my phone so I can hear what he has to say.

Mac is great. Saban has lightened up as the year has gone on. Poor Lee needs to step away though. I love le guy and he is a true legend, but it’s time.

I love the Saban addition but I doubt he is driving the 18-24 demographic or the social media
