We had three national championship coaches in a row

For a guy who went to LSU in the mid 1980s there is no way I would have believe that was possible. We fired the last two which is also a pretty impressive stat.

I’m still hoping the streak stays alive, and makes it to 4 straight coaches… no other program has ever had 3 straight. We still could make it 4 straight.

I just want a coach to get two. If that's Kelly or the next one, I don't care. Actually, at this point, it might take Kelly winning two for me to get back on his bandwagon.

If Underwood comes?? to LSU we will get his supporting cast and get number 4 NC. That kid is pretty incredible and wants a NC and a Heisman.

My Georgia and Ole Miss friends STILL give me shite about firing Coach O. They can't believe he got the hook that quickly. Will we do the same with BK or did Woody give him too big a buy out?
If we lose Underwood and don't win out I think a real possibility exists that someone foots the bill and we can BK.
The real question is who do we hire to take his place?

Coach O firing is all on Coach O. He let it all go to crap. His management of anything outside of actual football was his demise . I like coach O but the job was too big for him. Glad he gotta the best season ever, though.

LSU won titles with Miles and Orgeron. To think Kelly can't win a title at LSU is insane.
Kelly, like his predecessors at LSU, HAS to be elite at the coordinator position to compete for championships. The decision to go co-oc with Sloan as the play caller made this entire season a lame duck year.
Coaches are hard headed AF. It cost Miles championship seasons for sure unwilling to move on, adapt and be humble. It cost Dinardo the chance to compete for a conference title.
If Kelly can eat his humble pie and get elite at OC and DC with the talent on the way, there's no reason to think the program can't compete but until that happens we will be looking up at the top of the conference and nation two weeks after Thanksgiving.

We’ve got another one now. He will get us to the playoff multiple times over the next 5 years. If the ball bounces our way we win it all.
