Matt Lafleur
Robert Saleh
Bill Elko
Clark Lea
Butch Jones (Currently 4th year as HC at Arky State)
Chuck Martin (HC at Miami Ohio)
Autry Denson (RB coach with AZ Cardinals)

So he's not a total idiot. I think the problem is he's having trouble dealing with NIL primadonnas, he's really screwed up his defensive hiring decisions year 1 and we're still recovering from that, and JD masked the Oline deficiencies and he missed on that

Most of those guys fricking suck , butch jones lol ??? Remember his time at Tennessee? Robert Saleh not a winner in the least . The others are not the best either. Also Jones is probably more of Saban tree , at least to help him get jobs recently ala Tennessee.

Although Kelly has been a very competent coach for most all of his career, his decisions this year have been head-scratching numerous times and have lacked competence. Time management and the RB rotation has been bad.

Those are things he should be able to recognize and fix, but it continues to be an issue each game.

Lafleur spent 1 year with BK. Kyle Shanahan was a bigger influence on his career. Rest of this list is underwhelming. Les and Nick both had much more impressive protégées.

You know it's time to fire someone when you start making coaching tree arguments to keep them

He's having trouble focusing on his job. He's OLD. He's rich. And he's tired.

Well that’s part of it but the other part is he needs to man up and deal with it!

Yet he’s never really won anything of significance. Phillip Rivers is the 9th winningest Qb in history. Solid career but he wasn’t championship caliber. BK has a decent career going but everyone has an expiration date.

Other than Mike Gundy, who are you crediting to Les? Please don’t give me Jimbo Fisher. He spent 2 whole years with Les. He spent 5 with Saban

He has Bo Pelini, not sure you want to use him.

Gundy is also more of a Pat Jones guy. He played for him for 4 years then coached under him for 5 years. He’s just an OSU guy. He started college there in 1986 and since that time has spent a total of 5 years away from there

Saban arguably has the most impressive coaching tree of anyone maybe ever.

Bear Bryant had an impressive coaching tree if we're counting crooks or flakes.

Pat Dye - ushered Auburn into probation
Danny Ford - busted for recruiting violations at Clemson
Charley Pell - got UF on probation
Gene Stallings - caused Bama to lose scholarships
Mike DuBose - sleaze bag
Jackie Sherrill - got the Aggies and State on probation

Bryant must have set a really good example of honor for them to behold. IDK of another coaching tree with so much blight.
