You take away the horribly dumb penalty by USCe on the interception and the miracle 4th down throw by Nuss vs Ole Miss and you’re 4-6 right now.

Pardon the autism, but why 10 quarters instead 12?

Did you really mean 2.5 games?

And one of those 3 was a garbage time TD against Bama backups.

Admittedly that makes it look more damning. And it’s the point which everything changed for LSU.

If you do the last 3 full games, they’ve been outscored 107-52

I am sure it is in reference to LSU’s complete collapse during the second half of the A&M game

there is jsut a clear line where we started really falling apart

honestly It’s pretty much when Dillinger went out and Mubenga and Chester combines to be a open door.

Regressing is an extremely kind way of putting it.

We have been one of the worst teams in America over the last 2.5 games. I challenge someone to find 10 teams who have statistically been worse.

I would agree.

Something has gone very wrong this season.

The red zone offense and nearing red zone offense has been a huge issue. We start sucking whenever we even approach the red zone no matter how good the drive has looked before that.

It seems like we have about two running plays, so that doesn't help. Nuss rarely takes off when he should, so we don't move the chains with his feet when plays break down or the pocket collapses. And then we don't have that one big strong WR who is our go-to guy when we need a first my or a TD. CJ Daniels had some clutch plays yesterday, but we don't seem to involve him enough.

I'd consider some read plays with Collins/Durham to mix things up because Nuss by himself with this supporting cast is not getting it done on drives when we get down there.

The exact turning point was with 8:35 left in the 3rd in College Station.

LSU led 17-7 and had a 3rd and 2 from their own 21.

Nuss throws a pick that is returned to the 8. A&M scores TD on next play.

The reason it was 3rd and 2 was a false start on 1st down that made it 1st and 15. Gained 13 yards on next two plays. Then the INT.

23+ minutes from being 7-1 and it all fell apart.

Can’t finish drives.

How can a team regress so much as a team. Yesterdat this happened:

Had the ball 42 mins
Had 93 offensive plays
Had 2 4th down conversions
Had 400 yards total offense
And lose. Grrrrrrr.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that as soon as Dellinger went out our offense shut down and hasn’t recovered. You can scheme around one weak link on the line but two weak links is a tall order and Sloan is a below average OC to begin with.

Hard to conceive that he was the key to being a very good team vs a team that looks like a bottom feeder.

Wild.
