I still don't think Dan Bongino gives up his Pordcast show. The guy just loves his podcast and listeners too much to give it up - Unless there is a way he can do both which I think would be impossible to mange the two
But, let's pretend he accepts Trump's offer. How will the media spin this while calling DB all kinds of names, unqualified, etc?

I honestly don't think the media would spend that much time on it. They will ignore his time with Secret Service and say he is just a podcaster and Trump sycophant.

Dan’s been using qualifiers on the show. No “formal” conversations is what he said. Then he said something along the lines of “If the the President asks you to do a service, you have to listen”

I think if Bongino is asked by DJT, he will do it. He is too passionate about protecting people to pass up a chance to fix what he has been seeing as problems with the SS for the past 20 years.

Same shite as calling Trump a reality TV host in 2016, fully ignoring his decades as a businessman.
I was thinking if Trump chose an active Democrat for his cabinet, I expect the media would be crying just the same. It doesn't matter if Trump's pick is one of them, it just is made into a shite show because Trump made the choice.

The first card the media will play is the racist card. Not sure how they would spin that regarding Bongino. The second card is the sexual assault card. Again, not sure how that would work against Bongino.

Been listening to Bongino ever since Mark Levine first announced that Trump's 2016 campaign had been spied on. Liked Bongino's show better and liked how his past experience as a police officer and SS agent added to reporting on Russia-gate.
However, if Trump asks him, I think he'll take the offer. I think he'd put presidential protection and repairing the SS above his podcast.

Bongino will either let someone else take his place or he will do it like once a week. He probably won’t do it for all four years just long enough to unfrick it and get someone reliable to take over.
