And apparently there’s another child molester there that raped two kids and the kids insist that there are still rapist teachers still there only to be dismissed by the principal. So St Helen’s School District is nothing more than a child sex ring.

Up until 5 years ago it was a conservative town.

Mostly still is but folks from the metro area are moving in because they get more for their housing dollars and the commute to Portland is quicker.

Eta….I’ve lived in St. Helens. Most of you would get along with a lot of the folks who are from St. Helens.

Let's be honest, that could be any school anywhere these days.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a teachers union was involved in their support to return to the classroom.

Thinking about it from another point of view.... what if she didn't commit those crimes and is just "accused" and then isn't allowed to work and has a family to provide for? Not taking up for her at all.... just got me thinking.

Administrative role, no where near children. Full power to sue accuser and their family if it’s bullshite.

Seems fair to me.

As a rational human, this isn't an outward way of thinking. Innocent until proven guilty. However, kids change the dynamic. Always err on the side of caution with kids. Let the education system pay the suit after the fact. It will be far less expensive than if the teacher assaults a kid in the meantime.

I would be setting up a parent-teacher conference if it was one of my kids.

^this.

Truth be told, they probably see pedos like this teacher as just another “oppressed” sexual orientation like homos and trannys. They believe children can consent to sex reassignment. If you believe a child can consent to something that life changing, it’s not a stretch to believe they can consent to just about anything.

You mean it’s Oregon what?

Oregon is a million times better than where you are, most likely.

Portland gives Oregon a bad rap.

You can learn. We can teach you.

This should be an obvious case of paid leave. You cannot have someone in the classroom teaching in this scenario, but you cannot fire someone without proof of accusation. This is clearly the wrong action by the SD. Pay him until he is found guilty. If he is found innocent, he has been paid and should counter-sue the allegations for defamation.
