In 9 Starts This Season Nuss has Thrown 11.
This is a reminder that half of you spent a season and a half begging for what you’re seeing now.
Gunslinger Baby!!

Daniels was too conservative and Kelly “encouraged” him or threatened him to throw into coverage

That’s dumb, Kelly told him to take more chances down the field when you have 1v1 coverage, and he was right. The problem with BK is was either too lazy or too blind to realize that we needed to attack the transfer portal hard this past offseason. Instead he choose to rely on unproven players cause he was above “buying” players. Meanwhile Elko, Daboer and Heupel had no issue buying players because they understand that winning is more important than some bullshite moral high ground. BK still coaching like it’s 2009 and it shows. I bet BK still uses dial up internet and thinks milk cost 50 cents a gallon.

So one on one with the Defensive back is not coverage? Did I say double coverage? No. Daniels would not throw when a defensive back was near a fricking wide receiver because he was afraid to get picked like he did 10 times his last year at fricking Arizona State.
He was gun shy. Scared.
NURSE has a problem reading coverage. Is that unusual for a first time starter? In the SEC? No. You guys act like Joe Burrow was Joe Burrow his first year and Jaden Daniels was Jaden Daniels his first year. Both of those quarterbacks had far better receivers than this guy has. May not be perfect but the team around him is a hell of a lot than what both of those had from a talent perspective. Defense last year was good upfront, but terrible in the back, especially in the back end. Linebacker play was terrible and that was on coaching. Otherwise, speights wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing in the NFL.

Dang LSU must have never lost 3 games a year with those stats.

And still lost 3 to 4 games a year. And LSU still would be sitting outside the playoffs looking in

Or maybe with Nuss and last years defense we go 6-6 or 5-7.

The back foot throws are maddening.

He was right. Daniels was too conservative in '22. Daniels got less conservative and he won the Heisman and went 2nd in the draft.

I would take conservative Jayden back over Nuss. At least he protected the ball and kept us in games
Posted on 11/10/24 at 1:29 pm to Tarpon08
right. everyone was complaining that he wouldn’t throw the ball enough. He had 10 in his 3rd season as a starter
Posted on 11/10/24 at 1:33 pm to Tarpon08
Teams are recognizing our one dimensional offense now and with Nuss pressing too hard because of that, opposing teams know his tendencies and are defending the pass really well.

This is a retarded comparison. JD started for three seasons prior to coming to LSU, Nuss is in his first.

That's because every time nussmeor forces a ball represents a play in which Daniels would have taken off for 20+
Sloan is in better or worse than last years play caller.
Down 7-0 on 1st and goal, Daniel's trots into the end zone. This year's version is no smarter throwing it out of bounds to Green

Nervous Nuss. This divide loves leaning backwards when he throws under pressure as if it means that the incoming defender won't still pop him after the throw.
