Both times we got inside the 5 it was after 20 yard plus plays. Instead of going quick and not letting bama sub, we sub multiple players and run the clock down to 5 seconds giving bama time to adjust and sub as well

The second time we actually ran the ball on first down. If your going to mother fricking run it why are you subbing and letting bama get set in goal line? Run it quick you moron

Both Sloan and Nuss seem like they always are looking for the absolute perfect play. We have zero ryrhym or tempo

We certainly do not ever “grip it and rip it”. Everything is way too tentative and meticulous

He has no creativity in either play design or his play calling sequence

It’s just obvious he is a first time OC

He wants every play to be the perfect play. And Nuss does the same fricking thing with aligning blocking coverage

The pass play in the back of the end zone on 1st and goal at the 5 on our first drive set the tone for his entire evening of playcalling. Durham rips off a huge run, and we spend 28 seconds after the play setting up a back of the end zone pass play instead of another quick toss. He's terrible.

Awful. But at least it was a pass

The next time we rip off a 25 yard pass to the 5 yard line then sub and take 30 seconds to run up the middle. fricking ludicrous. I don’t mind a run. But get quick to the line and run it

Sloan needs to go. Should be before end of today.

Two specific situations last night and in Aggie game.

3rd and 4 we attempt a 20 yard pass.

2nd and 20 and again in 3rd and 20 attempt a 2 yard pass to the back on the right side.

It’s fricking predictable. Myself and 3 others were all in agreement on the play calling before the snap.

I’m no expert by any definition and if I can predict this play calling so can elite Defensive Coordinators

Yes. Many times last night. Durham is our #1 back and it's not close.

Sloan could use a week at a Joe Brady camp to learn nuance of play calling. It’s almost like he lacks critical thinking.

I personally think Kelly over rules the OC and DC on a regular basis....
He is old-school stubborn!

It is completely inexplicable how 90%+ of the time we run what couldn't even be considered normal tempo.

He isn’t a first time OC. Which makes it even worse. Dude has no clue how to call plays to get the offense in rhythm. Too aggressive on 3rd and short and too conservative on 3rd and long. Offense immediately seizes in the red zone

Knew we were fricked when we didn’t punch it in on those long plays. Our offense is not designed to run smash mouth into goal line formations.

Actually not sure what our offense is designed to do.

3rd and long and we repeatedly call unsuccessful wide receive screens and rb swing passes

Pure stupidity at this point. We take out the one RB that gives us an edge in the running game. Actually, he is our running game. Without him, we have nothing. And I like Williams, but he doesn't have the speed to do anything with this OL and these run plays.

I’m also not sure if Sloan realizes the middle of the field exists. We basically only make the other team defend 10 yards of the field in width

I am not fan of the play calling, but you evert think he is VERY LIMITED in what plays he can actually call? And, I am sure the gameplan has insight from BK.

Simply put, that O-Line isn't pushing anyone around, and that QB is meek.
