The godfather of modern LSU football

Props to him for making me realize as a child that LSU should strive higher than 9-3

I don’t believe that for a minute but Saban usually says the most diplomatic things. I give him credit for that.

Where did he get that purple jacket?
Is that new or did he still have it in the back of his closet?

Why would he not have a special place in his heart for LSU?

Why wouldn't he. Despite what people think, he's said countless times LSU always will have a special place and he has many close friends in BR.

He owes all his success to LSU taking a chance on him.

He called Skip Bertman asking about him coming back...

Why would you think he would not root for LSU?

What an extremely odd statement seeing as how he averaged 3 loses a year at LSU.

Why? He’s never been shy about his appreciation for his time at LSU.

He didn’t leave BR for Bama.
