I am not sure he has that authority. I have no objection, I just thought it would require act of congress.

Wouldn’t that take a constitutional amendment?
If he wants to be serious about border crossings that and revoking asylum coupled with severe penalties to businesses that hire illegals would do it. I don’t see a wall or the “back to Mexico” thing being serious attempts.

Then it goes to the USSC and this issue gets settled once and for all. This should have happened 30 some odd fricking years ago but our elected officials have been utter cowards.

It was made to stop voter suppression in south during reconstruction. They'd claim former slaves didn't have citizenship and would make complicated tests that former slaves who most couldn't even read wouldn't be able to pass.

I think SCOTUS will have to determine the scope of the 14th as it relates to "subject to the jurisdiction thereof".

It was, but there's never been unfettered illegal invasion of the United States by foreign nationals to be properly vetted/defined by SCOTUS under proper defining of the 14th Amendment.
Not like what was facilitated by the illegitimate Biden-Harris criminal syndicate.
