How do you curb the propaganda?

The propaganda is what sunk them because real every day americans are sick of it. It got the "I prefer Trump" low propensity voters to turn into "I voted for Trump"

And the left, predictably, learned nothing from it. Let their slide headfirst into progressive liberalism be the end of their crooked party. Here Here

You may not like it but the 1st Amendment is in place to protect ALL speech: propaganda, misinformation, hate speech, and the truth.

The way to battle it is with more speech. This is why Elon buying Twitter was, IMHO, a huge deal. It opened up information channels that were previously closed

Let them keep screaming it. That's why Trump won. Ppl are tired of being called fascist garbage misogynistic Nazi's for simply disagreeing with their delusion.

For one, stop funding it. IIRC there have been exec orders during the BHO and Biden administrations that provided grants for "free and independent press". Free money for Vox et al to hire journalists.
Then there is the Smith-Mundz Modernization Act of 2012 that abolished the domestic dissemination ban. If that hasn't been fixed, it needs to be post-haste.
Nothing was more infuriating during the CV that watching: local news fill it's nightly CV news reports with "stock footage" (probably provided by the national news desk) of medical professionals in moon-suits at some unknown facility treating someone as if that person was radioactive implying that this was happening at your nearest hospital.
You see, pups, back in the old days, the news would have to indicate, usually with a small caption on screen, if video was "stock footage" if it was not current and local.
