While only Franklin (out of the two) ever served as President, pretty remarkable the comparisons between the two.

I would actually liken Musk to Nicola Tesla as opposed to Franklin. There are many similarities. Hopefully Musk doesn't suffer the same fate- a mysterious death followed by the US Government confiscating all his work and research.
