Saints will have to strike fire twice

Will have to find a good coach who wants to come here. Will likely be some unproven guy because no established coach will want to come here with the roster we have. Also will have to get the best qb in the draft which is always a crap shoot.

This isn't college. There's only 32 of these jobs. There will be good coaches who are willing to take on the challenge. It just takes the team selecting the right one.

IMO the Saints are looked as a team that is very committed to their HC choices (Sometimes to a fault.)

That alone would make most young new hires a little more comfortable that they're going to be given a fair shot at building this team.

Because if the salary cap situation, this Saints job is literally the worst job opening in the history of the NFL.

It is unprecedented.

Obviously someone will take the job. But it will be someone who doesn’t have any other options.
