$81 for a fricking flower? Why are we still doing this bullshite??? My wife thinks I’m being ridiculous because ‘that’s just what they cost’.
ETA: I thought that it was so high because it was last minute (we just found out he was going to Homecoming a few days ago), but apparently not.

Be thankful you don't have to buy a mum as they do in Texas HS for $300

We all pay for that Louisiana florists license, baw.
A tank of gas is $50, baw.

You’re paying for the kid to make memories. Quit being cheap and selfish

Save the money. For $300 my boy Stanka can make your head spin.

$81 is high. It's $40 here at the local florist. $50 if you want something fancy (Heroman's in BR). But you can even find cheaper ones for around $30 from other florists.

Your kids are only in high school for 4 years (hopefully). Enjoy the ride. Stop bitching about a flower.

Mrs FCP ended up buying silk flower corsages instead. Bought them online for significantly less than buying fresh locally. No idea what/where, but there are cheaper alternatives. Anything helps when you’ve got 3 kiddos in HS at the same time.

Hey, now. I heard a story about a girl getting a corsage from an unlicensed florist - she got an infection and her hand fell off

A lot of stuff illegitimately expensive.
“It’s because of Trump and supply chain shortages.”

I's rather pay that than $3.50 for a glass of damn tea at a restaurant. It's so bad the last two places we have eaten out at don't even list the price of drinks on their menu anymore.
Check your ticket the next time you eat out.

That’s the price you pay for boys to get their dick wet

They’ve got us by the balls. Try going without one, you can’t. They can charge whatever they want because it’s a necessity. This is what Kamala will help us with on the gauging.

That's really high for a corsage. Are you sure it isn't a bouquet? That's what's really popular right now. But I agree with you, prices are insane. I've just started making the bouquets myself because of it.
I can use twice as many flowers as what I'm ordering at the florist, and (after a few YT videos) mine looks better.

My wife made all of ours for a pittance.

Texans are so smart at times and utterly retarded at other times.
