Zion - illness, missed Game 1
CJ - adductor, missed Game 5
Jones - shoulder, missed Game 5
Murray - played one game, out two months
Missi - hip, left last game early
Theis - ankle, left last game early
Murphy - hamstring, out another 4 weeks?

Does any other franchise start seasons like this? Is it just bad luck or other factors related to conditioning and treatment?

I'd argue that GSW being without Steph these last two games was more important from an injury standpoint that what our injury situation was for those two games.

They still boatraced us.

All I know is Golden St started Lindy Waters and beat us when we had the 2 best players on the court.

But you're still correct

It's ridiculous when you think about it. How did this team lose twice to GS it's crazy.

This is a grave indictment.

If you have your two best players and they do not have their best player you should win in the NBA 9 times out of 10 if those players are actually good.

Jonas won a lot of games for us last year, especially early on. He is a playoff liability but his play definitely helped stack up regular season wins

Even with out Curry the Warriors still run there system the Pels have no system it's just give the ball to Zion or BI and hope they do something. It's insane that Willie talks about us taking 40 3's but does nothing to put us in a position to do that. We should be spamming the inverse screen play with Hawk and Zion when there on the court together.

The Pelicans announce CJ, Herb, Trey, and Dejounte Murray are OUT vs Indiana on Friday.

Jordan Hawkins, Daniel Theis, and Yves Missi are QUESTIONABLE.
