I don’t think this is an over exaggeration.

1. If we lose it’ll mean three losses or more for his three years here.

2. We will lose 15+ starters likely next year and play @Clemson, @Ole Miss, @Bama etc. Can we go 10-2 or better? Maybe but not likely.

So losing next weekend means we likely won’t compete for a title until his 5th year of a 10 year contract. Some people may find that acceptable but I don’t think it is at LSU.

Bama lost at Vandy and at Tennessee so there are no excuses

Last week, his era depended on the A&M game

He keeps losing and his era will depend on the Vandy game

To date, Kelly has little to show in terms of big game wins at LSU. The fact is that LSU is married to him for some time to come.

This is inevitable at this point as this is not a NC team. You just have to hope the third loss comes in the playoffs at least. I don’t think it will.

At home, he’s 3-1 in big games. Another win at home against Bama would be pretty big

I think last week was a huge deal being that he lost to Elko who is in his first year and if he loses to deboer also in his first year it’s very much telling of a failure to me. The new generation of coaches is here and BK is the old news

Main reason for this is talent disparity compared to the top teams we’ve played and pitiful staff hires. He’s greatly improved both of those things within the last year.

Time will tell if he can turn that into on-field success but there’s almost no chance he’s going anywhere prior to year 6 unless he gets himself in trouble off-field.

Y’all might as well accept it now lol.

At the end of the day, the BK era will depend on if he is able to win a national championship. If he wins a national championship in year 5 or 6, no one will care what happened in year 3. If he goes his entire tenure here without a national championship, it will be a failure.

This panic shite all over this board is beyond annoying. Why don’t we just let this season play out and see where we are when the dust settles? Worrying about next year is futile at this point. BK isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Just accept it.

I guess the 2022 win over Alabama and winning the SEC West was not a big game win for you? He inherited only 39 scholarship players when he started that year.

He also won 10 games in 2023. None of those big enough for you?

Most fan bases would give their left nut for 10 wins per season and he did it twice.

What an idiot! What an exaggerator!

Was it a huge deal that Saban lost to BK his first year at LSU?

Some of yall need to step outside and get some fresh air.

Your post is ignorant, misguided, and ignores significant facts.

Nick Saban
2000 8-4
2001 10-3
2002 8-5

Should LSU have fired Saban after year three? Saban's record pales compared to Kelly's. Saban could only wish he had the record Kelly has.

Moreover, Saban inherited a ton of talent from DiNardo. Kelly inherited a dumpster fire from Orgeron.

Kelly's bringing in bucketloads of talent. The trajectory is up.

It was always a 5 year experiment at both minimum and probably at maximum. You can't give a guy any more time than that, but we also are handcuffed any earlier.

I think (more so hope) Kelly now knows he can’t just step foot on the sidelines and win a national championship here like the 2 retards before him did. Seems like he is in cruise control more than he should be…like a two time national championship winning coach might be. Problem is that’s two more NCs than our illustrious HC has. I actually like Kelly a lot, but we need him to be hungry, not comfortable, but hungry right now.

1 roster made the CFB last year and the other had the #1 recruiting class 2 years ago. Neither are comparable to what Kelly inherited with LSU which actually says a lot because we were 2 years removed from a NC.

SABAN had clout by then. Plus in hindsight he was on his way out.
My point is BK time has come and past
