“Sources: LSU WR CJ Daniels is a game-time decision against Texas A&M tonight,” Thamel wrote on Twitter. “He’ll warm up and attempt to play. WR Chris Hilton Jr. (ankle) will play for the first time in 2024 today, he’s brings straight-line speed and ability to take the top off a defense. A key LSU addition.”

I can’t get the anticipation for Hilton. He’s never done anything during his time here, except maybe caught a couple of passes. He’s one of the most overhyped yet underperforming players we’ve had in years

Maybe he can catch up with the deep overthrows from Nuss.

He was our #2 reciever in spring and fall camp and Nussmeier's #1 reciever in the bowl game.

And yet here’s a young man playing on a major College football team, probably already making more money than today than you ever will, and he’s still yet to go into the NFL and make more. The fact that he got injured, not only is not his fault- But if you’ve ever played sports and been injured, it actually hurts like hell to not be able to play when you wanna play and help out your team.

Actually the epitome of success.

And here you are some douche bag, shitting on a 19-year-old college player behind your desk as a keyboard warrior. Shut up you piece of shite.

Hilton's career at LSU in 19 games he had 22 catches for 415 yards (18.9 YPC) with 3 TD.

He played in 11 games last year.

I’m not shitting on him, it’s actually quite the opposite. I’m shitting on you, the overzealous fan who acts like the protective father

That’s the best excuse you got? You sound like a real douche.

So either Chris Hilton plays and doesn’t do anything

Or he doesn’t play and doesn’t do anything

Can’t wait… will be refreshing the page periodically

underperforming players

While I agree the hype train is out of control, you can’t “underperform” if you’re not playing

I think it has been injuries. He was the #4 player in LA coming out of HS and consensus top 100 player. But the injuries have limited him to only 20 games played. But in those games 22 receptions for 415 yards and 3 TDS (18 yards per reception) does show some big play potential. He just needs to be on the field more.
