I'm looking at their schedule this season. They have an impressive win over Missouri, but I wonder how "tested" they are. I expect it will be a battle, but i also wonder if their schedule was a little favorable early. I think LSU wins this one.

L - #7 Notre Dame - 13-23
W - McNeese - 52-10
W - @ Florida - 33-20
W - Bowling Green - 26-20
W - Arkansas 21-17
W - #9 Missouri - 41-10
W - @ MS State - 34-24

Probably overrated but aTm/LSU are roughly equal in talent. Homefield edge or better QB play? That's a pick'em.

Couldn't you make the same argument about us?

If we're discounting A&M's win over Mizzou, shouldn't our win over Ole Miss be as well?

Not to mention the fact that we have a worse week 1 loss than they do.

I agree that this game should tell us more. IMO Nuss and our passing game are very good. our kicker is very good. our defense is getting better.

I feel like we've played a slightly tougher schedule than TAMU so far, which i think would help. we've both played Arkansas. we've also played Ole Miss and South Carolina and USC. i think we'd beat USC west if we played them again now.

We'll see how it plays out.

maybe.

agree that our week 1 loss is worse. i think we'd beat USC (west) if we played them again now. when you play someone makes a big difference.

Ole Miss was expected to be much better than Missouri. i still think they end up better than Missouri when all is said and done, but outside the top 12.

We've both played Arkansas.

I think @ South Carolina is a tougher game than @ Florida.

I think we match up better against the Aggies. we'll see.

I watched a little of their game last week and honestly they look to have a very similar team to LSUs. Good QB, good talent at the skill positions a defense with a strong front 7, just a really dangerous team in general. This is a very big game for both teams and either can win it IMO.

They’re good and will be ready to play, just like the Tigers, will be a hard fought victory for the winner.

About right. I still think Ole Miss is a better TAMU. Touchdowns in red zone, busted plays and turnovers will decide it. I like us 31-20.

NO, they are a good SEC team, just like the rest of the league!

They have a first year coaching staff so there will be ups and downs.

They're a good team though. Beating them at home will be tough.

In general A&M’s supposed potential is overrated..but this particular team is not. If anything they’re underrated.
