Looks like he was a starter had 15pts and 5 steals. Wish him well.

Dysons a winning player. No question in my mind. Hawks are going to love him.

Murray is what we needed and a hell of an addition. But it’s going to hurt watching Dyson and those picks moving forward. Gotta give to get.

Yup, great trade for both teams!

Obligatory lick my nuts to the haters.

I really hated trading him. He's so versatile defensively that any offense he generates is lagniappe. We basically had 2 of the best defenders in the NBA competing for PT.

There were certain matchups where his size and strength made more sense than Herb Jones defensively. And that’s really all you need to say about his defense.

If he can develop consistent confidence in his shooting, he'll be a high impact player for years. We all saw his confidence come and go. I still like his game.

I still have love Dyson. He’s an awesome player and great defender. Unfortunately, we had too many wings and we couldn’t pay them all. Also, we really needed a starting caliber true PG.

Wishing him the best in ATL!!

I hope Murray works out for us. I think in a few years we are gonna wish we didn’t trade Dyson.

Yeah, the way he's able to handle true bigs is kind of shocking. He's like an emotionally mature Draymond Green. Hell, he got cheap-shotted by Nic Claxton in their opener, jumped up, got in Claxton's face, and said "you can't do that."

Dyson's offensive game will never be where it needs to be for us to start him and Herb.

Herbs offensive game was worse than Dysons is right now and that was after 4 years in college. So yiu never know.

Watching the Hawks game, I've figured out what the issue was with Dyson when he was here. There was way too much inverse gravity towards the basket. Dyson is having so much space with proper perimeter spacing that he just looks super comfortable going to the basket and is able to take his time getting shots up. He's in a perfect place for his development. He would never be able to develop with Ingram and Zion generating so much inverse gravity here.

Dyson looks far more comfortable out there than he ever did here. Being in that starting lineup has to have his confidence sky high

He's not afraid of being pulled any second, he can cut to the rim, and handle the ball in spurts.

Coaching didn't do him favors. It'll be the same if we yank Hawkins often too

8-10 from the field, 2-4 from 3 tonight. Y’all so sure he’ll never be productive offensively?

I blame Willie. He destroyed Dyson's confidence.

Can you imagine knowing you miss a shot and will be pulled? He did that to Hawkins often too.

Making a layup was a challenge for him here. He had to be set free to grow. Good for him.

I’ll probably get hate for this but I genuinely reckon Dyson will be a better player than herb will be . Higher ceiling . Dyson is what five years younger than herb ? I saw multiple games last year where dyson looked just as good and even better than herb defensively .

He also has broader arsenal of guard skills than herb . And so much younger . It’s a shame we let him go . Herb is better for the culture but
