Louisiana voting machine confusion when voting.

New update from JP
They were making people leave the cards in the machine because people earlier were not seeing the cast ballot button and were taking the cards out and setting of alarms on the machines. They did not realize why the alarms were going off at first and this is the reason they were having people leave them.
Update: heard back from a rep in JP. He early voted and was also told to leave his card in the machine.
I voted yesterday in Jefferson Parish. You arrive at a desk and someone swipes your ID then gives you some sort of credit card looking device. Someone directs you to the machine that has a slot in it for the card. They tell you to leave your card in the machine when done. I get to the machin and there are signs plastered on it to remove the card when done. I didn't think about this until later but the contradiction is giving me a bad feeling.

Are the machines built or serviced by any relative of Huey P. Long?

I was told to remove the card when done.

Interesting, I left and it was still in the machine. I have a message to the SOS.

Congratulations! You just voted 500 times for Harris/Walz.

I have never been told that.

Right and I didn't think anything of it until I get to the machine after and it said remove.

I voted in Covington yesterday.
The poll workers were extremely nice and told every voter in line to make sure and remove the card after voting and throw it in the basket by the exit door. There was a worker standing by the table with the basket of plastic cards and "I Voted" stickers.

They were nice also and had the stickers. Just not sure what the deal is with the card. It did look like democrat women guiding people to the machines though.

Not only in LA, but it still boggles me how a basic vote tally has so many questionable procedures and they differ so widely throughout the nation.

Another weird thing I tried to call the SOS voter integrity line and the voicemail is for Candie Edwards, the ex of Edwin.

If I think I know what you are referring to as "Democrat " poll workers, there were none in Covington. LOL.

Elections are about the only thing that Louisiana does relatively well. Our results are usually counted and finished very quickly on Election Day.

Maybe call the governor's office.

I will try to get answers.

The card tells the machine what items you are eligible to vote on based on your precinct. Anyone from the parish can vote early at the same site on the same machine, but there may be different US house districts within the parish.

What are you talking about? They specifically told me to leave the card in the machine and had me leave.
