With Mickey's comments to "look beyond the results," that tells me one thing: he is complacent. He and the front office see that fans are still buying tickets and showing up games basically taking the fans for granted.

As much as it pains me to say it, a good solution to this would be to just stop showing up to games. I guarantee you that Mickey won't be looking beyond the results when the dome only has 35,000 people in it on a Sunday and that gravy train starts to drop.

I disagree. "Fans" support thier team no matter what. Memo for you. NFL teams make money whether you're there or not. It's why owners rarely sell. I'd see 65k booing fans than 50k. The Saints are nothing more than a strike team or pre season roster.

the diehard fans are going to support them no matter what, they've been through far worse
plus if you don't go the visiting fans will take over

You have to take it one step further.

Don't sell your tickets.

Otherwise, if you sell your tickets, odds are they will end up in the hands of opposing fans, who will still go to the game and buy concessions.

And if you think all they care about is making money... well... in that case, they are still making money.

Didn’t Mickey already say on his radio show they are not making any changes? What good would it do? So you are wearing a bag but you are still buying the beer and nachos . Gayle not losing money.

If the Saints had a real owner who cared about football and the fans Both
ML and DA would be gone .Its not only losing its the fact the team continues
to make the same mistakes over and over again and have been for 3 years.
As far ML is concerned he has done a pitiful job with the cap and aquiring
enough talent to the point they have NO depth whatsoever.Thats on him.
He is derelict of his duties.

The optics of no butts in the seats are 100% a good way to talk to the owner. How else do we communicate?

Saints fans are too rabid…..

Saints could have a 1 or 2 win team and fans would STILL pack the dome.

Fans would just sit there and get drunk in their seats !!

I said to do this last year and created a post as well. Was told it won't matter. You have to cut their funds before they will listen.

Always easy for someone without tickets to tell people with tickets to not go.

I don’t live close to New Orleans anymore so I had to give them up, but I sat through some rough seasons in the past.

At the same time, our GM is telling all of the fanbase what he thinks of them when he says “look beyond the results.” He’s openly taking advantage of the fans with his “let them eat cake” attitude because he knows the revenue is flowing in with the 73,000 who show up on Sundays in the Fall. Let that revenue start to drop, and maybe he will put some effort in improving this dumpster fire we are experiencing now.
