Weeks reminds me of Craig Steltz in his play.

Everyone wants to compare Weeks to Mathieu, but for me it's Stelz.

Obviously Steltz played safety, and also white, but more so about his motor/energy, nose for the ball and laying the wood. Both players were fairly unassuming great/ fast athletes you would not instantly expect to have that performance at first glance.

Glad he's playing for LSU.

Steltz was good, but his play wasn’t game changing like Weeks’ play.

Could be misremembering, but Steltz was more of a hammer. Weeks seems more athletic. He's also really smart about what he needs to do each play.

I think weeks is probably more impactful just because a LB is usually going to have more of an impact on every play

but Steltz lead the team in interceptions 2 years in a row and had 101 tackles his senior year.

he was pretty impactful.

What? Steltz was a consensus all american in 07 with 101 tackles, 5 TFL, 1 sack, 6 INT, 13 PD, and 3 FF.

I love Weeks, but Steltz was the best safety in the country as senior. Let's not downplay that.

Steltz was a sledgehammer. Different player than Weeks.

Steltz was a solid player with NFL talent. The difference for me is Weeks is a dynamic player with game changing abilities.

Not taking anything away from Steltz solid might be the wrong word to describe him.

No he doesn't not even a little. If anything he reminds me of Devin White the way he plays Lber. Smart down hill player with great instincts and a nose for the ball. Weeks may he a little more athletic when it's all said and done. He's a very fun player to watch and is a game changer on defense. Leads with emotion and his style of play!

Hard to make comparisons because he is such an all around player. I think you have to start with the speediest LB's. Maybe Sr. year Duke Riley?

So....,Just smaller, slower, doesn't run a 4.3 40, not physically imposing , 5-star recruit and white.

But yeah other than that he's a carbon copy of Devin White.
