"The sum is better than the parts"

We've had teams that had one guy or a few that just carried the team Like Daniels last season. This team doesn't have a superstar; although, Whit may be changing that, but, each week there seems to be different players that rise to make impact plays. It really makes this team fun to watch.

We've had games where Nuss, Durham, Weeks, Swinson, Zy, Anderson, Lacy or someone else makes the big impact. The team still makes mistakes, but I can't say I've seen a game where the effort isn't there and that's a credit to the players and coaches.

Weeks is def changing that. He’s a high 4 star recruit and now playing up to his talent level. He’s one of the best linebackers in the entire country

Best thing about this week was they were on from the kickoff, aside from almost a dozen false start penalties in the first half . Thats something we had only seen against South Alabama up until this point

We seem to be a well-rounded team having just enough at each position to be a really good team overall. If we can continue to improve, I think we can definitely make a run at the ‘ship

RESILIENT. Fighting to win early on, finding themselves through adjustments & injuries, and now continuing to get better and taking care of their business. Let's GEAUX to CS and get a W!

I had high hopes for Chester, but he's definitely struggling and the OL as a whole just gets the yips at times.

I'm not too concerned about correctable mistakes when we win because that gives the coaches and players just enough to keep them grounded and focused on improving.

He’s playing at All American level. He’s definitely a star. Swinson is a legit star too.

The two games that made me confident in this team were USCe and Ole Miss. We saw either the offense or defense play way below their talent levels, and still grind out a win. There’s gonna be at least one game this year where the pedal is on the whole time. Comparable to the Florida or A&M games last year (with much better defense).

This game was important as a road test for Chester. The crowd noise and atmosphere got to him in that first half. Hopefully, he learns from it and it helps him at CS.
I think it will.

Throw in Mason Taylor as a player that has saved our bacon more times than I can count. That dude will be playing on Sundays for 15 years.

They were on for the Ole Miss game, but so was Ole Miss. Both teams played well, we just made one more play
