I like candy corn

There, I said it. I think it’s the most underrated candy.
Don’t say that publicly though.
For some reason we’ve decided people who like candy corn are right up there with serial killers and politicians.
Maybe there’s a bit of a cilantro effect where people literally are tasting something different than I do (I get an almost chocolate taste to it with a hint of mint).
Fair enough.
That just means you should go get your tastebuds checked

This.
Candy corn should be the #1 candy in the world.

It tastes like the end of a a-tip looks
ETA: A used q-tip
ETA 2: that's right, I said it. I'll be the villain of your cherished candy corn. It's...well it's not gross. It's just a gross texture.

I am not saying that. I’d probably put Hershey or Kit Kat or Reece’s at the top.
But I do stand by it being underrated. Another reason to look forward to Halloween.

They are cheaply produced, and thus traditional.
That's literally their only outstanding quality
They are an extremely unremarkable, if colorful, candy

They dont have to be remarkable.
Why don’t we value consistency, durability, and perseverance in our candy

My vote for most underrated goes to the strawberry Granny candies. I didn't know they were called Strawberry Bon Bons until a couple years ago.

durability
This is what's wrong with America. We are more concerned with the durability of food than the taste or health risks.

The pumpkins are my favorite. I’m still eating on a bag from last year.

I've always like candy corn but circus peanuts can go straight to hell

You guys are amateurs. Discover the pleasures of being just a little fruity and thank me later. The heroin of candy right here, along with the candy apple, caramel apple, and cola flavors. Could just inject it straight into a vein.

You know it’s not real corn just with sugar in it right? It don’t come out in yo turns like the real deal.

Get three peanuts and one candy corn - eat them together … I was shocked that it taste good. It’s like a payday bar.

Every fall, I like to mix up some candy corn and peanuts, toss 'em in my grandmother’s old glass candy bowl, and set it right there on the coffee table. Just feels like tradition, baw.

Used to eat just a few many years ago. But the older I get my sweet tooth just can’t handle it, it’s too much sugar.

It's practically pure sugar, what's not to like? I don't get the people who say they hate it. Oh and a glaze made from bug secretion.
Ingredients. Candy corn is made with sugar, corn syrup, salt, sesame oil, honey, artificial flavor, food coloring, gelatin, and confectioner's glaze. The confectioner's glaze is made from lac resin, a bug secretion.

What’s better than eating the three different colors one tiny and toothy slice at a time? That, my friends, is high culture.
