I still think this is a very real possibility. The new owner wanting the Dome replaced/upgraded will be the reason

I'll give her $20 for Saldiveri. I need a 2'x6' wall that just stands in one fricking spot and doesn't do anything.

Ppl that want the team to be sold are the worst.

Just clean house from GM down and bring in resumes and football ppl.

I’d love for it to be sold to someone who gives a shite

Ok Gayle cleans houses who’s vetting these football people resumes?

To be fair, Tommy Class wanted to move it to Algiers and/or San Antonio right after Katrina.

Yes. NO isn’t the attraction it once was for the NFL. This isn’t a knock on New Orleans. This is the fact that other cities have built new stadiums and the NFL is so flux with income and fans the venue no longer matters.

If venue matters then Vegas and Nashville have replaced New Orleans in the NFL’s eyes.

Were you around for the Mecom ownership days?

It could be worse is all I'm saying.

I mean "upgraded" with a new stadium. People also choose to forget that Benson was very close to doing so if it weren't for Katrina and the efforts afterwards by Paul Tagliabue and Gov. Blanco to keep the team there. Owners now want more space for box seats because they are a major profit center for owners.

I mean the fear of things being worse isn’t a reason to stay the course

It’s also the older fans that have this irrational fear of the team being relocated, that’s just not happening

Why?

This was literally a thing pre and post Katrina. And also pre and post Benson ownership.

It’s not irrational for long time fans. I could talk about this a lot, but it’s true.
