At least Jerry has some sort of business sense while Gayle is a gold digger that won the lottery and doesn’t know shite about running a sports organization…
Does she have any heirs? Or will the team go back to the league when she takes a dirt nap? Seems like that is the fastest route to a reset….

Gayle is worse by a long shot.
Jerry has done a great job drafting.
Cowboys are also not in cap hell.
If the Cowboys had Brees and Payton for 12 years they would have won multiple super bowls with how well they draft.

Who signed Dak to a long term deal? That is a far worse contract than Carr.

Gayle is a dilettante who could not even run a small business without geting sued dozens of times and arrested for fraud.
The Benson mafia gets her name on stuff and they use her estate as they please. With a winning team being way down the list of what they desire. Protecting each other is a must.

I think Gayle and only because as meddling as Jerry is, I think he really cares about the product he puts on the field and he wants to win. He's not afraid of making coaching changes.

I wish Mickey didn’t have the ego he does, become more of a CEO, and let someone else be in charge of the football side of things….but he seems hellbent on proving he was the key man behind the success, not Payton/Brees.
We could be turning the corner by now had they admitted defeat post Payton and it was clear the Jameis reclamation project wasn’t a thing.

Gayle Benson doesn’t meddle, she’s hires people to run the team. Jerry is his own GM. Gayle could (in theory anyway) hire new people to run the team at any time. You are MUCH better off with an owner like her than one like Jerry who thinks because he made a fortune in the oil bidness and went to college with Jimmy Johnson that he is a great GM.

Jerry at least cares and wants to win. Not to mention he did all the work to get his team, he didn’t marry into it. His only problem is he is too involved. Gayle doesn’t even know what football is. Just something she stole from Tom’s real family.

Probably half the league inherited the team some are good (Steelers, Chiefs) some not (Raiders, Bears) still others turned it around (Lions, Texans).
Some of the absolute worst owners have been guys that made their own money (Panthers) no rhyme or reason to it.
