I suspect that before the game, most of us had been quietly resigned to the idea that Ole Miss was going to win. Had they done so, it would not have been a terrific shock.
By contrast, Ole Miss fans are now in total panic/meltdown mode. Look at what they’re saying on social media and fan boards. They’re ready to burn Lane Kiffen at the stake.

If LSU loses at Arkansas, this board will be in a huge meltdown. It's what fans do.
But it's still funny to watch the Ole Miss reaction. When you consider the overwhelming majority of their fans weren't even born the last time the Rebels even won a conference championship, it makes it all the more laughable that they continue to get their hopes up.
