Interesting situation at BC

BC is telling their head coach that he will be fired if he interviews with the NY Jets.

he said he is interviewing anyway

I really can't believe Auburn didnt give Turner Gill more of a look. I watched the Uconn/BU game and that dude is winning with a bunch of 1-AA caliber guys, smoke and mirrors.

Why is that hard to believe? it took decades for there to be one black head coach in the SEC and the fact that Gill is not only black but married to a white woman did play a factor no matter what they say in Auburn.

I think most schools worry more about firing a black coach than hiring one...

The Ball State win was money, but the rest, meh.
I agree that Chizk is a terrible hire. But everyone acts like Gill was the BEST choice.

He's coaching freaking Buffalo son. Give the man his props. He also had his hat in the ring for the Nebraska job last year. He's a better HC than Chizik.
