Weeks and Swinson were animals last night, but Zy Alexander stood out last night as a stud DB. Dude was always in position to defend a pass, along with an interception (really close to 2) and made a couple really good tackles. If Stamps and Woodland continue to improve, our DBs will actually be a legitimate unit.

Him and Weeks should have gotten it but Ty's interception was awesome but so was Weeks final sack! Really it was a great time for BK to give to the Home Crowd! And the WHOLE TEAM AND COACHES! Oh well GEAUX TIGERS

As a longtime major burns hater, I have to say that he played well last night. Feels weird.

Hey was playing great last year before he got hurt. Had a great game last night. It was so refreshing to see our defense fly to the ball. Had some mistakes but I am so damn fun to watch that type of defense again. Matt house should be sued for impersonating a defensive coordinator.

I watched the trenches and there weren’t many plays where we didn’t get much pressure at all. I thought their effort and physicality when contacting o lineman was the best I’ve seen maybe ever. This team wanted this as much as the fans did.

All 3 levels of the defense found themselves last nights.

For as well as Weeks, Swinson, and Zy played. Frazier and Delly played equally as bad, DJ Chester is what he is right now as a first year starter. Our interior offensive line was manhandled all night. Glad for the win but there is a lot of corrections which is a good thing, because we can still improve.

Zy showed last season that he is a legit LSU corner. He is a guy we can single up on anyone.

Swinson has been an absolute animal at DE. He is the best DE we have had since Hunter.

_________

Sounds a little dramatic. We threw 51 times and didn't give up a sack.

I’m pretty sure he’s talking about the run game

Players and coaches have worked their asses off and it shows. May have an honest to God LSU Tiger defense by November if they keep it up.

Moving woodland inside to cover slot receivers on passing downs was a great adjustment . He got beat on an out route in the early 4th. However, late in the 4th after we tried the game when they tried running the same out route he pressed the wideout instead of playing off and broke up the pass beautifully. Shootout to the staff for realizing putting burns on shifty inside guys in man coverage is not a recipe for success

Savion jones said early last week this was a revenge game for them. They sure as hell played with that fire and passion
