Nuss Top 10 in the 2025 NFL Draft

I said early in the 4th Qtr that Nuss was easily a top 10 draft pick and got down voted into oblivion. I was told I know nothing about football. Get ready, thats all you're going to hear this week.

Nuss can probably be a Late First round/Second Round pick.
I think Nuss would really benefit by coming back to LSU for 1 more season. Nuss is playing pretty great, but he can use more experience, and he can also better his footwork, work on having a more consistent deep ball.
I think LSU could get back a bunch of dudes next season. Get Nuss back, and aim for a National Title next season.
Also helps tremendously with the Underwood transition for 2026 and 2027.

He was clutch when it mattered.
That being said, he looked like he needed more development in the other 59 minutes. If a QB is not a runner, they need to show they can exist in the pocket. Nuss currently has massive issues existing in the pocket. He continually backs up, at times into the DE blocked rush lanes. It's a testament to his arm strength that he can still throw NCAA level passes off his back foot. If he cleans those up, sky's the limit.

That was not the time to make that argument.

Easily top 15.
Likely top 3 QB in 2024 draft
If he sticks around, he'll be 24 in the 25' draft.

Y’all need to calm down. The dude is constantly 2 seconds late on every throw, which in turn makes him force some very unnecessary throws. He really needs to get better at reading defenses, seeing the entire field, and working through his progressions.
He has the physical talent and I am rooting for him. He is not ready for the NFL.

Nuss redshirted and sat behind Daniels before getting his chance to start this season. If he goes pro he'll be a 1st round draft pick but will be sitting at least a year again.
He would have 1 season of football in five years if he sits a year in the NFL. I think he comes back unless he projects top 5.

I watched a different game. I didn’t see this

There are several mocks that have him going in the first. I don’t see too 10 right now but I wouldn’t be shocked if he earns a late 1st round grade at all

There weren't many pockets last night. OM had pressure on him all night. Their DL is pretty good.

He’s got to work on his foot work in the pocket

WTF?
Our OL consistently gave Nuss all day to throw, brother.

We did not watch the same game, I do not agree with this at all. Nuss regularly had time to throw. Pressure is going to happen at all levels, nature of the game, but he regularly had 5 plus seconds to throw the ball. I also don't blame the line when he won't step up into the pocket.

If he had one receiver who could consistently get open.

Very few teams select a QB late in the first round. They are picking late because they had a successful , likely playoff team the previous season which means their QB played well. If not taken in the first 10 to 12 picks they will fall to the second round or lower.

Nuss needs to get drafted by the Jets. If Rodgers can teach him how to perfect that back foot throw he likes, he will be set
