You need bigger dogs.
I’d sit out on my back porch with a thermal for the next 10 years if my dog got killed and eatin by yotes.

Get a great Pyrenees that you keep exclusively outside. Don't make him a house pet.

How big are your dogs?
I had one get snatched years back. Wasn't a really rural area. My big dog caught the yote and from the amount of hair and blood all over gave it hell but not in time to save the little one. I trapped two or three over the next few weeks. It doesn't really matter where you are, keep little dogs in a good fenced area or inside, especially at night.

Yotes would never kill and eat a Pitbull.

Rancher friend out west has Pyrenees with his sheep. They eat jackrabbits and ground squirrels on top of protecting the herd

If shooting with thermals isn’t an option, get one of these (kangal) or aforementioned dogs as your next dog. They will maul any yotes they come across
