There's not a single ranking that wouldn't have some huge WTFs right now. It's hard to sort out.
It is what it is.

Not that it really matters but it is odd to get jumped by Notre Dame when both were on byes.

It's Notre Dame. They will do literally anything possible to pump them up as high as possible.

I would say that its because the USC loss looks worse now, but so does Notre Dame’s NIU loss

the way the points work, it's possible ALL voters had the same order for LSU and ND last week and this week; but with how they moved the other teams around these two made the points change in the other direction.

I think Clemson at 10 is the most egregious, at least Notre Dame beat A&M

Sorry, but no way a home loss to 2-loss Northern Illinois looks better than a neutral site loss to USC. The Notre Dame loss also happened after the LSU loss, which shouldn’t matter, but often does for any school not named Notre Dame.

I mean, the AP voters embarrass themselves routinely, but it make sense because AP stands for Always Pathetic.

Alabama loses to 2-loss Vandy and only falls 6 spots. Clemson wins at Florida State, which is now 1-5, and moves up 5 spots. It’s a joke.

ND also won at A&M which looks way better after yesterday. So ND’s best win looks better (compared to the week before) and LSU’s loss looks worse (compared to the week before). Could easily explain how the small gap in voting points between ND and LSU was closed.

Nope don’t bring logic here, it’s a big anti-LSU conspiracy by a poll that doesn’t even ultimately matter. Who cares LSU doesn’t have a ranked win, losses are what matter!

So Georgia felt no ramifications of Alabama getting exposed by lowly Vandy?

I mean the whole thing is a shite show. There's just no good way to rank everyone. You have teams like Miami and Penn St. up there as a result. No one believes they're that good. But here we are.

LSU will have a hard time against Ole Miss, TAM, and Bama, and they always struggle at Arkansas. So none of this poll shite matters.

Still lost AT HOME to a MAC team, which has lost twice. It’s not like Notre Dame lost at home to 2006 Boise State. If you’re gonna compare the wins, you also have to compare the losses.

So you agree with my point that it’s a shite show. Cool. Glad you understand that then.
