Friend said its in the works for them buying land south of St Frannie.
Reason : lots of nearby available power from Riverbend nuke plant.
I say BS
I see on line they have 25 locations around the country

Hard to really know at this point. They’ve done well with putting misinformation out there.
With River Bend there I can see having more of an upside for development.

I wouldn't be thrilled about having a bitcoin farm as a neighbor. A google search turns up dozens of articles about local communities up in arms over them. Noisy, strain on the power grid, and bring few jobs with them.

Yeah. Remember IBM got tax breaks for good, high paying jobs in downtown Baton Rouge.
It was a call center.
Pretty much anything crappy comes to BR, gets tax breaks, crap jobs and leaves.
