Is their any legal recourse that states could take or individual citizens could take??????

A case could be prepared and presented that the federal government is not performing at expected levels nor is it operating per the constitution.

Why could something like this not be done?

This is the preferred path. The other is a bit messy.

As for the courts, don't count on them.

Texas is seceding. It’s up to the rest of you states to figure out what you’re going to do about it.

Don’t want to join? No problem. We don’t need your dead weight states anyway.

A simple nation wide work strike for a week will stop everything and starve DC of revenue for that week.

We need a Bill of Rights pt. II, and this is the only way to progress towards that. Mainly, we need serious reinforcement for the 1st and 2nd amendments, because apparently some people need clarification that all speech shall be free, and bearing arms shall not be infringed. Penalties for denying these rights should be harsh.

I have never understood why MAGA isn't all about a COS all day/every day. It was designed for the situation we find ourselves in today - an overbearing, overactive, increasingly intrusive and oppressive federal government.

South Carolina already tried this ... and is behind at the end of the 1st Half.

Still another half to go.

that’s not how it works.

And the remedy for those things are elections.

Because who’s gonna run the convention of states? The same scumbag politicians who burned down the country in the first place? I don’t think so. Maybe we should write them a sternly worded letter

Which scumbag politicians? Be specific.

I cannot imagine putting the fate of everything into the hands of state legislators or whoever they would delegate.

No thanks.

I really wish we had enough politicians with a spine to actually do this. The US is ripe for a convention of States.

Almost everyone of them to a man. Elected and unelected. And most of the people ruining our lives have never even been elected we don’t even know their names in some cases

I don't think you know how a COS works.

Anyway, anybody arguing against taking power away from fedgov and bringing it back to the states isn't thinking right.
