Newton and the Counterfeiter: The Unknown Detective Career of the World’s Greatest Scientist by Thomas Levenson

review

the book

It's not exactly a biography as it deals with only a part of Newton's life. But it's a phenomenal book and a great read.

Chernow is one of the GOATS as far as biographers go

Grant

Titan- John d Rockefeller

Hamilton

All solid books. And very dense .

Walter Isaacson is also good. His ones on Einstein and Da Vinci are good and easier reads than a Chernow. If that matters to you.
( not to diminish your intelligence but there’s a bunch of pages of his paintings and the explanation of the technique involved with him painting or sculpting them.. so you can have a sense of achievement of knocking out a lot of pages if you struggle with challenge a bigger book with a lot of pages )

Da Vinci is so fascinating and was one of the most unique and smartest people this world has ever seen. May be a good jumping off point for you.

The Autobiography of Malcolm X

Before I read this, I knew nothing about him but what I saw in media. This book is a page turner.

If you're a fan of the band Rush, Geddy Lee's is pretty good. It's called My Effin' Life.

When Samuel Zemurray arrived in America in 1891, he was tall, gangly, and penniless. When he died in the grandest house in New Orleans sixty-nine years later, he was among the richest, most powerful men in the world.
