Looking to get a .22 pistol for plinking. Prefer a semi-auto...recs?

Browning buckmark is a solid choice that won't break the bank.

I’ve got a Ruger that I love. Think it’s a Mark V.

Can’t go wrong with both of the recommendations so far.

Buckmark as has been said. Mine is 30yr old at least. Love it.
Ruger Mark which ever. My brother had one and it's one of if not the best .22 semi auto ever made.
S&W M&P .22 - I have one and it's a wonderful little gun that accepts a silencer and will eat any ammo you put through it. Great little pistol.
Sig P322 - have one of these as well. Comes cut for an RMR and silencer. Very accurate. Has a massive capacity. Finicky though. I've had lots of issues with the magazines. Lots of failure to feed with the rounds getting nosed down in the mag.
ETA:
Walther P22 - friend has one of these and he loves it. I've not shot it
Taurus TX22 - want one of these. I've not shot one but the reviews on this gun are absolutely glowing.

The two best choices.
Buckmark is a pain in the arse to disassemble for cleaning.

Either one of these would be my choice. I have both and they eat any ammo and really accurate.

+1 for Walther P22. Fun gun to shoot, especially with a suppressor and CCI Target loads.

As stated above, Walther P22. Legitimately fun and very reliable sidearm.

My Taurus TX22 has been astonishingly reliable. I often shoot it suppressed.

I just got one of these. I've also experienced the mag issues, but have found that if I'm careful with loading they are few and far between. Very cool little gun.

I had a ruger 22/45 for a while. Cheaper version of the mark 4 or whatever they are now. Was a fantastic pistol. Very accurate and reliable. Kinda a bitch to take apart the first time but not bad after that.

That or a ruger. Both are awesome

I’ve been looking at the Sig P226. It has a double stack mag and threaded barrel.
