It’s time that we create a team entrance to match some other schools around the country

We have the best venue, best home field advantage, and best fans in the country.
It’s time that we create a team entrance to match that. The juice in the stadium right before the team enters the field is very subpar. We need to create some sort of tradition like some other schools around the country.
Alabama has thunderstruck blaring while showing the team walking through the tunnel. Enter Sandman for VT. South Carolina has their own thing with 2001. A&M with Power. Penn State’s entrance is sick. Just to name a few.
ESPN will be sure to capture these entrances every time and you can see the fire and passion from the fan base. All we have is a little highlight video and a different song that is played every time before the team runs out. Just my thoughts.

Traditions tend to form organically. The best ones do at least.
It's kind of empty to start something with the specific intention that it be treated as a "tradition".

At some point, we have to do something new. Maybe let the players come up with something until something sticks.
For the most part, we’re doing the same stuff that we have been doing the last 10 years. It’s grown stale & nothing truly unique, but a night game in Death Valley is unique in its own right. We don’t need gimmicks

I may be in the minority but I love the highlight video before they come running out and no music afterwards. Just hear the crowd roaring. That’s what it’s all about. We hear enough of that crap music during the game. Almost forget we have one of the best bands in the country.

because a main part of the excitement and build up of those videos is seeing the teams make their way towards a field entrance. VaTech walks half a mile into a long tunnel, Alabama has a 20 second walk from locker room to field, Notre Dame has the walk down the stairs and Michigan and its visitors locker room are right across from each other.
