Dude flat out dominated last night. Spin moves, inside power, rips, plays with power and speed. Has a good bit of that dawg in him. Brother Martin tried a few guys at RT to no effect.

He affected almost every pass play, got a few sacks and a few would be sack/fumbles that were ruled passes. Just created havoc.

Don’t know if he’ll end up as a major college recruit(247 lists a few smaller schools so far) but it wouldn’t surprise me and he’s one to keep an eye on especially if he keeps growing.

EDW played in week 2. Could not run at him or get wide. Can’t believe he is only a sophomore

Is he interested in LSU or does he want to GTFO of Louisiana?

Some NOLA kids just seem to really want to go out of state. I guess I can’t blame them after living in that shite hole metro area their whole lives.

Do you think comments like this help or hurt LSU recruiting? I realize it's not your job to recruit for LSU, but is it your job to recruit against LSU?

You really think posts on this message board affect recruiting? That’s almost as silly as people believing that TigerDroppings members overlooking the current opponent when they post on these forums is going to cause our team to overlook the opponent and affect the team’s play negatively on the field.

Maybe for not tis particular recruit, but perhaps other and future recruits. You don't think recruits and families read the site?
You don't think negativism by those who really should be positive on the program casts a all over the program?

The point is it certainly doesn't help. It can only hurt. Players who are from other states and don't really understand the culture down here may look elsewhere. Maybe not decide because of it, but question their decision.

The question is, moving the LSU brand forward or backward... which one is beneficial to LSU and LSU recruiting?

It can if everyone is shitting on the coach and/or program. The kids and family definitely read this site and have for a long time.

I didn’t say a single thing that was derogatory towards our coach or program to begin with. I simply stated that some players from NOLA are determined to get out of Louisiana no matter what.

Way too many overly sensitive people on here.

You didn't say too many kids want to get out of New Orleans and Louisiana. THAT would be fair. You said so many kids want to get out of that shite hole metro area. And THAT does create bad impressions for Nola and the state for those considering coming to LSU. If you can't see that, then you're just dense, or purposefully being ignorant. you choose.

Maybe so, but those kids probably aren’t at Jesuit. They’re probably getting at least a decent home life and experience

One significant one was Joe McKnight at John Curtis. He knew he wanted out no matter what. I think his home life was rough though. You do make a fair point.

The coincidence is that all of the kids who just really want to leave the state happen to fall into an out of state school that pays them more than whatever LSU is offering. Pure coincidences
