Nobody Wants This on Netflix, the most ironically titled series ever

Because it is outstanding and anyone that watched The OC or Veronica Mars will absolutely want more of this.
Three episodes in and it’s one of the better rom coms that has come out in a while. Funny but not silly, smartly written with some actual thought provoking conversations about love and spirituality in today’s world.
Definitely a great weekend binge with the Mrs.
93% critics 87% audience for those that pay attention to RT
Good AP article on the writer’s experience that led to creating the show.

I added this to my list the other day but haven't started it yet. The wife and I are currently watching Lost and it popped up on the home screen. Love Bell and I always liked Brody.

Just finished it, very good

I have an ex girlfriend that I think about all the time that looks a lot like Kristen bell
I’ll probably watch this

Timothy Simons since VEEP has been funny to me. We enjoyed it.

Binged this show yesterday. Enjoyed the hell out if it. Came here to post about it, but there was no thread yet and I was too lazy to start one.

He’s a scene stealer here too
Also, seeing Spiros Vondas give Sandy Cohen a run for his money as a sitcom dad is something I didn’t see coming but here we are

Glad to see the board is enjoying this as much as we have so far.
No spoilers, but curious if this sets up future seasons or if it appears to be a one off?

Great watch so far. We were struggling to find something to watch this morning, and this fits the bill perfectly.

I think they def left it in a spot where they could carry the story forward.

I try and give the wife a little break- she doesn’t make me watch Housewife ‘shows’. It’s a delicate balance some weekends

Started this this morning.
Very Gilmore Girlsish with the fast wit and conversation.
First time that I’d say Adam Brody is charming or a paying a nice guy.
If I have to watch a romantic series, this is pretty perfect.

Have always been a fan of Adam Brody. His sarcastic delivery is funny. Anyone who’s watched him understands he’s basically Seth Cohen in every role and it’s easy to assume it’s still him
Binged over the last 24 hours. I thought it was very good. You could sense the lack of experience, or at least lack of audience exposure, from some of the actors but at least it came off fresh.
The sister and brother characters did a fantastic job and were pretty funny.

Watched the first 5 episodes this weekend. As good a RomCom as I've seen in a very long time. Bell and Brody have great chemistry.

Just finished and yes they did.
Really enjoyed this. Felt like they stayed outside of the cheese factor and kept it really tight script and dialogue. Little lag on episodes 7-9 but that whole series was 9/10 for me.
I sincerely hope everybody involved says “we nailed it,” and there isn’t a season 2.
Like with Big Little Lies, seeing the resolution really takes away from what made the series special. Ending was perfect for not needing to expound any more one it or see everything fleshed out.

This is a great show. Wife and I both loved it. I’d watch every romantic comedy ever if it was written that smart.

Finished this, and while I thought it was quite good, I thought the ending was terrible.
They earned the more real ending, and they should have stuck with it, or at least left it ambiguous.
Better than most things, no matter the end, but still, have the courage to go all the way.

My guess on the ending, which I'm sure was written in hopes of getting S2 greelit, is that he turned down the promotion to be with her and next season will be the fallout of that decision.
