I know that some of you are familiar with this name regarding previous coaching searches. This guy is from Baton Rouge and is an up and coming 46 year old hungry coach who just led South Alabama to back to back historic blowouts.

Listen, I’m not coming here to say that LSU is going to lose this game by any means, but damn….it sure has the recipe considering how bipolar our defense and offense has been. Obviously offense has been the bright spot but it seems that we are definitely not fully complete on that side of the ball just yet.

Obviously I hope that we blow this team out as we should because we are an SEC team with high caliber athletes in every category, but man this game just sticks out to me as a trap. I hope we win.

Geaux Tigers….

All I know is this board has been obsessed with Major Applewhite for the last 2 weeks. Before the obsession I haven’t heard his name since about 2001.

up and coming? He had been coaching for 20 years. He had his chance. Now he is at South Alabama.

NW St may be the worst team in the country in the FCS division.

If the "University of LSU" didn't do you in, your shite opinions definitely finished the job.

If you are going to name your son after a military rank .... Major? I would have gone with General or Commander!

He failed at Houston and took a lesser job. His trajectory is pointing down.

But if you are naming him after an Alabama wishbone quarterback from the 70s…

I assume you’re thinking of Major Ogilvie, but he wasn’t a quarterback.

Thanks to the Rant the past week or so he’s become the biggest Louisiana sports legend since Toe Nash.

A guy I used to know who played under him at Rice said some players had to carry him back to the hotel room after their bowl game one time.

All I got.

He's gotten fired a couple times from head coaching jobs and as assistants
At what time he was an up and coming coach but I think he's pretty content where he's at

Catholic High QB, QB on the team that was 10th nationally with Travis Minor, Greg Brown, etc. and got upset by West Monroe which basically began their LA high school football dynasty (bleep Tommy Banks)

Reportedly loved Bama and wasn't fond of LSU

Put it simply, LSU HAS TO WIN this and LOOK GOOD DOING IT
