He knows with hard work and dedication that his time is coming. So stop calling for Joe Sloan's firing, and risk Underwood heading elsewhere.

Let's hope Mr Underwood didn't read the scoreboard Sunday and saw your dumbass thread then.

You have to be pretty happy as a qb seeing LSU’s offense. As a DB or safety though, idk how you want to come here

Playing time. New guys who are better than vets have to play, period. I’m convinced we’re just devoid of talent older than 18 years old in the secondary.

Underwood the type of generational talent that can geaux anywhere in college for 3 years, win a Heisman and is immediately a NFL starter as a Rookie.

He’s a HARD LSU lock and isn’t even thinking about any other school.

I just hate that we will probably lose Hurley and/or Collins.

Hurley or Collins will start next year . They better be working their asses off behind the scenes away from the team on days off, during the summer, ect. Hurley is a high ceiling guy imo . Collins is high ceiling as well with his athleticism. Both have some tolls to work with

I think Collins might stay. If BU isn't as ready as we hope, Rickie can guide it for a year. Or we can bring in a transfer. Hurley is the one I could see leading an upstart Arizona or Oklahoma State in a couple of years.

Because you think you're better than the guys we have and would play immediately and get recognition as the player who brought DBU back to LSU

If Hurley is starting as a redshirt freshman, that means Underwood transfers after his freshman year.

I wish they'd give Hurley more of a chance. He's got a pure throwing motion and is a great and smart kid. He's a gamer too. So does everyone think Nuss is gone after this year regardless. I hear he could come back if he wanted to.

I questioned his playcalling. Never said fire him. Maybe you should comprehend reading better.

As a DB you should probably look forward to going against such an offense in practice no?

At one point in last week’s game, we had an all-freshman D-Line in at once, and several other freshmen rotated in on the secondary. If you’re a recruit, you’re looking at that and thinking “I can come in and play immediately.” That’s a big plus for recruits.

Nuss will be here again next year unless he has an out of body experience and starts throwing for 500 yards and 5 TDs a game. He is an above average QB right now. If he left after this season he would be at best a 3rd rounder. He will stay and try to improve his stock.

I don’t agree with this take at all. It’s a weak QB class this year and nuss has tools scouts willl like. He has a cannon for an arm, accurate and throws with great anticipation. He currently leads the country in completions. If he keeps playing the way he’s playing he’s gonna be first round QB. Scouts don’t pick you solely off numbers if that was the case Anthony Richardson would’ve been a 3rd round pick. They pick you based on your tools and potential. nuss has pro tools and a high ceiling to go with good numbers
